"Five stars because it was exactly what we needed and the ladies were so friendly. Dog park had so many stickers in it my dog said no when we went the second day. So we just walked around. Plenty of room for that. I get it’s west Texas. We missed breakfast both days but menu looked great and well priced. Diner also served dinner with a few hours closed between the two. This is an old Koa without much but a perfect stop for a day of rest off the highway. The sky was huge and the mountains beautiful. Makes you feel small and supports skywatching and daydreaming. Thanks for having us! Water and electric worked fine. Plenty of room in pull through for our 45’ toy hauler without unhooking. Didn’t use sewer or any outbuildings. Dog park had stickers all around but there weee two sections to separate any dogs needed. Dumpsters handy"

"Wonderful experience! Sites were very clean and well kept. Shower was clean. They have a cafe on site that was great! The breakfast was amazing and fun conversations to start the day. The 2 ladies were fun! Thanks again!"

"Top Shelf RV Park I rented a cabin there when my suburban broke down on I 10. Got towed into The Van Horn and they sure were kind to me and my fur babies. We Love you an wont forget you. Appreciate you putting up with me but I have brain injury and can't recall being treated more kind. I loved the cabin and the food was great! We are thankful that the RV hospitality is alive and well at your beautiful park! Thanks for all the kindness you provided to me and my three service dogs! Ain't never will forget our wonderful stay and we love you."

"We have stayed there many times. They have large sites the only issue the connection on some sites is not always near the connection from the RV and you need extra long hose so before to level I suggest you inspect where the ground valve is located. I have stayed there with 3 different RV and have had issues with all of them. Some sites the connection is way in the back but the best spot to level is near the front. That being said the people are wonderful and move you to you get a better spot. I believe it was once a KOA so the layout conforms to KOA which is always a plus. The have a cafe' for a quick bite and it is plain but actually pretty good. Everyone there is super friendly. We are heading there in Jan for two nights."

"Great place to stay! Everything you need in one place- there is a cute little cafe on site- we had cheeseburgers for dinner and a good country breakfast- it was delicious and the service was great. Good clean bathrooms and showers. Easy check-in and set up. We’ll be back!"
