Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin North Central, an IHG Hotel

"Got my payment wrong and so I had to be charged a different way upon arrival—even though a holiday inn staff member confirmed to me that my payment method was fine. Coffee machine in room doesn’t work. Room outdated. When I got back to my room at 5pm there was a sign on it that said “not ready yet”."

"Let me first say that the service here is very good. The staff is friendly and they are also honest. We left behind a very expensive Purple pillow which they tracked down a day later and held for us to come back and get.m it when they could have easily stolen it. The hotel itself isn’t bad but isn’t great. The carpet is dingy, the hallways and rooms kind of dark. Some cracks in the popcorn ceiling in our room. With a little refresh and some added lighting it’d be pretty decent. The highway was loud when 18 wheelers go by. If not for the service and honesty, this would indeed be a 3 star hotel."

"It smelled clean the entire time. Loved the coffee bar. The in-room Keurig was broken but didn't mind going downstairs for the coffee bar. Good night stay at good price especially for a quick weekend get-away when you need a clean, comfortable affordable hotel stay."

Having never visited Austin before I found the location well situated and a reasonable distance from my destination at UT. Staff were friendly and professional, my room was clean and well maintained during my stay, and the property was secure. Thank you for a pleasant experience."

"Check in was great. The room was not the quality I have come to love about Holiday inn. My bed sheets were stained but you couldn't see it till you flipped the pillows over. I just feel like a Motel 6 would have been cleaner. The only thing worth mentioning is the location was good and the Breakfast was good and Hot. Would not recommend and will not be returning."
