"I live in a college apartment complex, came out one (rainy) morning to drive to class and there's an empty, driverless, comfy furniture moving truck blocking me and other residents in. Several empty parking spaces nearby, but they parked in the middle of the road instead. Waited for 10 minutes to find someone to ask them to move, never found anyone, never made it to class."

"I was directed to Comfy Furniture because I needed additional bedroom pieces to match a dresser that I had previously purchased elsewhere. Andrea looked up the item numbers and informed me that the pieces I needed could not be sold individually. She took my name and number, saying that she would try to find the matching pieces from another manufacturer. Less than an hour later, she called me with good news that she found what I needed and the only difference was in the hardware (knobs/handles). She sent photos, then I went back to make the purchase and scheduled delivery for the very next day. My husband and I are very happy with our new furniture and I'm giving 5 stars based on the excellent customer service that I received from Andrea. (I'd also like to add that the store I bought the dresser from made no effort to help. They just told me the items were discontinued.)"

"DISHONEST!!!!!! When buying a bed via the website, I was told I would need a box spring for the bed I chose. Upon delivery/installation the delivery men put the box spring on the bed, but not the mattress, as I was still shopping for a mattress. It was two weeks later I finally found a mattress and when the delivery person put the mattress on the bed, it was obvious the bed did not need a box spring. It was so high I couldn’t get in the bed, and the beautiful tall headboard was nearly completely covered. The deliver guy and I took the mattress off and then the box spring off and put the mattress back on, and it was perfect! The bed DID NOT require a box spring after all. About two days later, I tested positive for covid and was unable to handle this situation. I have since called and explained the situation to the managers at this store and was told “there’s nothing we can do”. I’m now stuck with something I don’t need and must pay for because of incorrect information THEY provided. Understandably, they are not comfortable taking a box spring that has been exposed to covid, however, the box spring would have never been in my home in the first place had they gotten their facts correct in the first place. They are unwilling to even meet halfway! I have the box spring that has never been used, and they can come get it. They refuse. They should eat the cost of this box spring because THEY were wrong. They are the ones in the business of furniture, not me! You’d think they’d have their facts straight! The mistake STARTED WITH THEM!!!! This bed is a platform bed and not only should the sales people have known, but also the installers, that it did not require a box spring. I am financing this furniture, so the attitude with the store is “we got our money, it’s no longer our problem”. They absolutely oversold me, and have now washed their hands of the problem! I will never, ever shop with this store again! The customer satisfaction here is horrible! I now am not comfortable that I got correct information about the other furniture I got from them. I honestly want to just start over with a more honest store where customer satisfaction is important. I’d never recommend this store! It’s been hell, from half their items being sold out, to the deliver date/time, to now this. And the whole “there’s nothing we can do” attitude. I can’t say I’ve ever been treated this way anywhere. Once they’ve made the sell, they don’t know your name! They’ll be super accommodating until the sale is final! BE CAREFUL!!"
