"Unprofessional. The Agency is mandated to give you a call prior to running your application IF there are applications for the property before yours. I had to call multiple times out of multiple days, AFTER getting sent to voice-mail countless of times. They went ahead and RENTED the property without a heads up and was just gonna run my application and collect that fee. Watch out!"

"I’ve been here since the building was owned from PDG and if you want to avoid a slum lord type of service, don’t rent from vista. I have one window unit for 720 square feet to last me for winter with mold in it (I was told to let maintenance fix it, but you’ll read of how they don’t really make much effort here in a second), I have had a window fall out that was left open until I asked for it to be covered, I’ve been without power for two weeks because of an electrical issue and lack of having someone come fix it, I’ve had a week of no running water in 2022 because of burst pipes with no communication of an estimated fix date. The latest is we have roaches apparently and one sign posted two months ago is enough reason for maintenance to enter your apartment for cleaning. I also said no spray since I have cats and to use baited traps and I now have a video of a man spraying my apartment. Late fees are 10% the second day and $5 a day until the end of the month and you’re not gonna be met with a response in a timely matter if you do have an issue. I’ve been here for 3 years and have seen heroin addicts fighting with their spouses in the halls, screams of a gun being out, the back door being busted down (and trying to charge me for it since I reported it), and the only security camera is provided by our saint of a chiropractor next door."

"The worst property management to go through. My friend went through them and she put her application in july and just heard from them in September they told her they couldn't find her application even though she paid the application fee in July they couldn't give her a refund even though on the website it says if your not approved you can be refunded your application fee. The lady told her she needed a co-signer even though she gets paid 3 times more for what they were asking for."

"I am in the process of trying to get a property through them and they approved me for a place on the same day I found out my dad needs help and doesn't need to live alone, so they was so understanding and are trying their hardest to put us in a place that we like and will fit our needs and so nice about it. Even if they are not able to help us with a place they have been so kind and understanding and that really means a lot to us! I would recommend anyone that is looking for a place to call them some of the best property managers out there! Thanks again for all of your help!"

"SKETCHY!!!! Super helpful at first, that’s how they get you. Then all of the sudden… quality plummets. Payment apps change, property managers change, you go from having a direct line to no longer. You call the office? They do not answer. When I first moved in, the best thing about the property were maintenance men Tony and Horace. They got work done quickly and efficiently and did it well. They were also pleasant to be around, but no longer seem to work on this property anymore. I’ve been in this place for almost 8 months now, and turnover was horrible. The worst was how dirty the place was, how the oven I was told before move in would at least be moved back into position was not and did not work properly… it started smoking! A hazard! (Condition pictured) The back stairs were barely dead bolted into the building and had to be reinforced because they were tilting so bad. The door stuck terrible. I had to kick it open (Tony and Horace took care of that for me.) They left me to take care of a disgusting stained mattress and pillows. I was planning on throwing away the dirty sheets but when I discovered the condition of the mattress that was not clearly labeled or discussed until after move-in, it was said to be furniture that came with the property. I’ve never had a problem with used furniture— but a mattress with visible pee stains is unacceptable. I had to pay $90 to get it taken care of which I wont be reimbursed for. I was also sent my laundry door location and code 2 1/2 weeks after move-in. When I used the coin laundry available for the first time I discovered that none of the dryers were working. After Rebecca tried to fix this issue, I went in a separate time and they were not working again. So although I appreciate all Rebecca has done to try to fix some these issues, there is a deeper one at hand. The lack of care for the property I live at is disappointing. Now Rebecca is no longer the property manager and the lack of care for this property has only seemed to increase. They lock you into a long term lease so they can take advantage of you. The apartment was listed as a lower amount than I signed the lease for, and unfortunately I didn’t notice until after. As a first time renter and young woman, they have taken full advantage of me and it is appalling."
