"We did not have a good experience here. We went in because my child wasn’t getting better. He ended up being positive for other things his HR was in 180s-190s we were never put in a room. The doctor never thoroughly thought to check him. He has an ear infection they never checked his ears. So many things missed and will not return. We were not told for any signs to look for with RSV at ALL. Nothing was communicated by person. Yes we got the discharge papers but as a nurse and a physician it’s common descency to be able to communicate what signs to look for, how his breathing should look and shouldn’t, when to bring him back in etc. The charge nurse I assume said there wasn’t any rooms left for things like this and ours wasn’t as important as others. I’m sorry if I am seeing kids being discharged walking out of rooms perfectly fine than doesn’t look like they needed to be in a room either. We were not taken seriously."

"The staff is nice at first and they will help you but after awhile they will start to treat you differently even when it's something that is not your fault when it comes to your child"

"My son had to have surgery with an ENT. It’s a 3 hour drive from my home town to Lubbock (which I don’t mind the drive). The doctor was going to send us home since everything went well but I had concerns for my son being in pain and uncomfortable for the 3 hour drive home. The doctor took my concern into consideration and kept us the night to help with my sons pain. The nurses were great they checked on us frequently and kept my sons pain under control. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone with children."
