"When everybody around was stunting child development by forcing children to wear face masks, First Steps Learning refused to be pressured into hurting little children. They never budged and as a result, during their time at First Steps, my children developed beautifully."

"Daycare- Convenient, clean, organized, & appears overall nice. Teachers - Overall seemed nice. Students - Seemed structured and independent. A plus. Not communicative in the 2yr old class. Large Classroom Size -Negative/Reduces individuality energy Class Projects - Negative. A lot of cut and pasting. Not true work of your child but pre-cut items with teachers coloring. Teachings - Negative - Large group of teachers where English is their second language. Thick accents, choppy, or not well pronounced. At a toddler age, the pronunciation/enunciation of the English language is critical. I need my kid to say "yellow" and not something that sounds like "zello" or "gello". Have the primary teachers verbally stronger and let the secondary teacher in the class, introduce Spanish. During an early morning drop-off, teachers chatting and laughing in Spanish amongst themselves for about 4-5 minutes. One teacher yelled ridiculously at a child to sit down, (in English), it seemed to be more about the kid interrupting their conversation. Keep in mind, this behavior is unacceptable behavior expected for the parents not to do, and they require you to sign paperwork. Yet, your teacher comfortably does so? I was changing my son on the other side of the wall, so the teachers had no idea I was there. My kid's class was outside when I arrived with him. After sending my kid outside, I looked into the other classroom thinking maybe their class is outside, it was a full classroom of kids sitting around. Again, Spanish is wonderful and important, just not a primary of this country or promoted as their primary teaching at this school. This school is 8 min. from my home. But you may have better options: smaller classrooms, interaction, etc. I just needed a pickup after 6pm, which narrowed my options in the community. My kid is a charismatic kid. Engaging, well-spoken and smart for his age. Not just my opinion but expressed by a prior Curriculum Director, and so many professional educators. He has never not cried going to school here. Not being impressed, it caused me to keep looking. NEW school, 5 minutes from my job/30min from home. I rather drive the 30 on my off-days than to not be impressed by this school. No school is perfect, but I'm definitely happier my kid is back to being happy about school every morning and literally walking himself in w/out looking back. The same as he did prior to attending First Step Learning Center. I tried this school, it may work for you. Just my experience."

"I am so thankful for this place. I immediately got in and have had the greatest experience. They have loved on my daughter and she quickly adapted to the new environment. They truly care for the kiddos. Not to mention it is the cleanest establishment. My daughter was sick CONSTANTLY at her old daycare and has not been sick since we started here."

"We are so grateful to have found FSLC. Our son absolutely loves his teachers in the infant room, and we are so appreciative of their kindness and professionalism day after day. The facility itself is spotlessly clean, safe, and organized. It’s clear they’ve spent lots of time making it a fun and educational space for kids. On top of all that, their tuition is so much more reasonable than many other places in the area. We can’t say enough good things!"

"Enroll your kids!!!!! As a first-time mom I agonized over finding the perfect daycare for my daughter. I read reviews, toured countless facilities, and I am so glad that we found first step. My daughter started here at 3 months old and we have loved every second of it. Her teachers (Margarita and Marisol) were beyond amazing. My daughter would reach for them in the mornings and not want to leave in the afternoon. Along with the best care, they also have very reasonable pricing! Their office staff is informed and always does their best to help in any way they can. 10/10 recommend First Step to anyone!"
