"4.3 stars. Super cool former bank converted into a hotel. When exiting the elevator on the 20th floor to get to the room, it was a bit odd as the look and feel of the floor was very much that of a commercial office feel. The room was great with its super comfy beds and standard amenities. Extra points for the abundant USB charge ports. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour buffets were huge wins and welcome surprises! Parking is par for a downtown hotel stay but convenient. Slight ding for the flow of the checkout process, but the team was pleasant and doing their best. Be sure to look around and enjoy the fine small details and decor. There truly was some great architecture done in the 40s and 50s."
"Rachel in kitchen was very pleasant. She wanted to sing happy birthday. Said good morning to everyone. Made sure we were good and didn’t need anything. The entire kitchen staff was amazing but Rachel stands out! Front desk were amazing as well. Friendly as can be. Vallet employees were funny and very fast at getting our vehicles."
"We travel a lot and are usually Hilton fans… this hotel far surpassed all our Hilton experiences. The most special attribute of this hotel is the very friendly staff… every single one you encounter is beyond friendly, helpful, and accommodating. And it doesn’t feel fake. We sat and watched others’ interactions with staff and they always seemed genuine. The “fast break” is easily a free, tasty dinner, unlike the manager’s receptions we’re accustomed to consisting of Chex mix and maybe veggies and cheese. Breakfast was nice too. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping will not ride the elevator with you, even if you offer them to join u. They’re not allowed, they politely say with a smile. Location is awesome! Can’t say enough about this great hotel! We kept saying, it’s clearly managed well. This will definitely be our first choice when we return."
"Hands down the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff has been so friendly, our room was very clean, and we feel very safe and comfortable. Wonderful for kids. Free breakfast, light dinner, popcorn, and drinks. Really helps families stretch their budget. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs, but the best is exploring all of the nooks and crannies of the Hotel. Great views and sunsets. Balconies and decks to relax. Walk out to the Riverwalk and not far from the Alamo. This a great base for exploring the city. I highly recommend this Hotel!!!!"
