"I enjoyed visiting this facility. They have lots of free weights and exercise machines. They have 2 indoor basketball courts and one outside. Above the indoor basketball courts, there's a track with 3 lanes for walking or running. There's an indoor and outdoor water park. There are some "quieter" spaces, too, for sitting and lounging around. The pool tables are in this room. Between the indoor and outdoor water parks, there's foosball, ping pong, and air hockey. Just outside on the south side, they have a lake with a sidewalk around it. During the Summer, they offer Summer camps here."

"I'm a new member and I'm so impressed with the facilities, classes and staff. When I moved back to Fort Worth I was excited to find a gym. I was disappointed with other gyms in the area as I mostly take classes. I used to go to Lifetime Fitness and this facility is equal to, if not better than Lifetime at a fifth of the cost. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and spacious. The downside is sometimes there are unsupervised children occasionally but it's not a huge issue."

"So as I read the reviews left by others I’m amazed by the negative comments. First, people are complaining about the amount of seniors, let’s not forget that it is a community center that the Y manages. Second, complaining about and blaming the YMCA about Construction and issues from the newly built facility. The construction of the property was commissioned by the city of Bedford. It’s a huge complex with an outdoor water facility. From what I’ve seen they’ve corrected the issues in a timely manner and completely. Third, yes the pool hours are frustrating but because they are a community center they must follow the rules and regulations of a community center. This means that, with multiple areas of the pool area, they must have X amount of lifeguards on duty. I’ve seen the training and testing of lifeguards and the guards that do work there are great. Fourth, cleanliness? We’ve been going to this facility several days a week since the day they opened. Never have any of us found a smell or filth. Place is always neat and we see the cleaning staff constantly working. So yes, a very long rebut to the complaints to get to the review. Review- The Bedford Center YMCA is an outstanding facility especially for the price. Are you going to get the same level of equipment as you would at a Lifetime Fitness? No, but you’re not going to pay those prices either. It’s an amazing community center and the Y has been doing an outstanding job at running it. Sure they’ve had some issues but that is to be expected with a new build. If your level of entitlement is typical of today’s society perhaps you might want to consider a membership at a gym that costs 3-4 X’s what the Y is. It is a clean and safe facility that is well run. Always a warm welcome when arriving. Love to see that when an issue with the facility arises it is addressed and corrected quickly. The pool staff/lifeguards are simply outstanding! Yes I wished the pool hours were extended. I’m sure this would relieve some of the issues with congestion in the lap lanes and hoping that as the staffing levels grow so will the pool hours."

"The whole facility is nice and the staff is helpful. The indoor aquatic center is excellent for all ages and a great place to take a family swimming (which is the basis for my rating). There's a zero-entry pool that gets to about 3' which has a small play structure on the shallow side and entry to a lazy river on the deeper side. There's a spa (hot tub) for 12yo+, 2 water slides, lap lanes, a resistance lane, party rooms, and several family restrooms with showers right across the hall. Life vests, noodles, and puddle jumpers are free to use. Lifeguards are very attentive. I can't wait for the outdoor water park to open!"

"Was so excited to visit the new Y today. It’s a beautiful facility with something for everyone. Indoor pool with lazy river, waterslides, lap pool and kids zone (outdoor pool to come), nice locker room facilities with lockers you can code on site vs having to bring a lock with you, showers and family sized options, event rooms, upstairs workout area, track, basketball courts, outdoor court, many studio spaces for classes and a quiet hall with tables, couches etc for studying, chatting with friends or remote work options. Outside there is a small lake with walking trails and a newer playground that is not yet open. There are already some really great activities for kids, teens, homeschoolers and adults. We have always loved the Y and are about 30-40 mins away from this Y. It’s well worth the visit. I am hopeful a facility like this will one day come to NFW area!"
