The Children's Courtyard of Plano Legacy

"Since resigning from the Children’s Courtyard, I have felt compelled to edit my original review. Michelle Webber, the Center Director while I was employed, was absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a better boss. She advocated for her employees and her students, which should be a given, however, in my opinion, in this company it is hardly the standard. I witnessed months go by without a single concern from upper management of Learning Care Group about the multiple child-sized holes in the playground fences, the leaking ceilings, the broken toilets, and the broken windows. Instead of replacing windows, large pieces of splintery plywood has been used to cover the windows (from one side only). In my eyes, all the company seemed to care about was the money of it all. I could not handle working for a company I felt had no care about me, my colleagues, and my students. As heartbroken as I was to leave the kids that stole my heart, I made a decision that has positively impacted my mental health and career more than Michelle Webber did, which is an incredible feat. Treating Michelle like trash was the wrong decision, LCG. She was one of the best happenings in your company, and it really seems like you drove her out. She was doing amazing things, but I only saw her being treated like Tina Flowers’s and Clarissa’s floor mat. It was more heartbreaking than leaving my students. "I haven’t been a part of children’s courtyard for a long time, but as soon as I first walked in for my first interview with the company Michelle Webber, welcome to me with open arms told me her experiences and allowed me to come into the company not as a new person as a friend She is hands-down one of the best employers I’ve had and I will be eternally grateful for her friendship and what she has personally done for me. She has allowed me to be open and vulnerable to her no matter what whether it be my own personal experiences, or if it’s family stuff If I was having a bad day, I could always go to the office and have a good laugh when Michelle was There."

My little is so happy and asks every morning if it was a school day. At the previous place near home, I didn’t get the same enthusiasm as I do now and I couldn’t be more grateful.
