"I trusted this establishment with the care of my four month old. The first red flag was when my son had it written on a sheet of paper that he ate three bottles, but only had two dirty bottles that went home. I spoke with the teacher and they claimed that they used another babies bottle by accident. Then about a month later it happened again. This time I spoke with the director Casey who asked me to give them another shot. I should have taken the second red flag and walked away. They made a few changes and things were really great for a while. On Friday my son was sent home sick. I took him to the doctor he was treated for an ear infection. There is another infant in care who seems to always be sick, but mom is a teacher at the school so nothing gets said. I digress. Monday I took my son to daycare and dropped him off. He was all smiles, and I wrote on the board the time to feed him next. He had been 24 hours free of sickness and on antibiotics. I was not instructed by anyone that I needed to keep him home any longer. I dropped him off and he was fed at 9:15am. They then laid him down for a nap shortly after. According to them a supposedly on their cameras my son then slept until 2:25pm. He has never slept that long for me at home, even when he had the flu. He was not fed again until 3:11pm. This is a four month old baby. When I spoke with the director Christy about the issue. She listened to my concerns and her response was to read a play by play of the recordings that they have of the room. She said she told the teacher that she needs to ask if she should wake a sleeping baby to eat or not next time. My baby typically takes about an hour and a half nap each day and small naps in the morning time. This has been true while he is in the care of my mother as well. I am interested to know how he sleeps all day at school but no where else. I am in the process of researching all child care laws on this matter. I know that times are hard and as parents we are having to take what we can get in terms of childcare. What made it worse is that the directors response was to defend defend defend. I makes me truly sick to my stomach that the people running the daycare put the protection of their employees above the protection of the students in their care. I am so blessed to have a village that can help me out but many moms don't have this option. Prior to placing your child in the care of this daycare please consider your parenting style. The minimum standard of care is as follows for daycare centers: §746.2401. What are the basic care requirements for infants? Subchapter H, Basic Care Requirements for Infants April 2017 Basic care for infants must include: (1)Care by the same caregiver on a regular basis, when possible [Medium]; (2)Individual attention given to each infant including playing, talking, cuddling, and holding [Medium-High]; (3)Holding and comforting an infant who is upset [Medium-High]; (4)Prompt attention given to physical needs, such as feeding and diapering [Medium-High]; (5)Talking to infants as they are fed, changed, and held, such as naming objects, singing, or saying rhymes [Medium-High]; (6)Ensuring the environment is free of objects that may cause choking in infants or toddlers [High]; and (7)Never leaving an infant unsupervised. [High] This is the MINIMUM. I hope that in the future they take accountability with situations such as this one. Best of luck to all parents."

"FHK is a great place for kids. They genuinely care about the children and they are loving and nurturing. The Pre-K program is wonderful. My 5 year old grandsons love it there. I feel extremely at ease knowing they are being taken care of while I work."

"I haven't ever been big on doing reviews, but after reading one posted by a disgruntled former employee, I felt I had to. My daughter will start Kindergarten in a few weeks. She started at FHK when she was 12 weeks old. So, I think that I have FAR MORE insight into this daycare than she does. Let's review her claims. 1. Yes they have walkies. But only in the afternoons to let teachers know to send the older kids downstairs because their parent are there to pick them up. The classrooms downstairs do not have them. In my 5 1/2 years there, I have NEVER heard them used to alert that there is a parent onsite. There are always parents around anyway. 2. Drinks/snacks. I know this is wrong. I have many friends who have kids there. I visit with some of them in different classes. And they have snacks and drinks as well, and this is LONG after 2:30. So, please don't listen to a scorned person who is upset over losing their job. This is not the type of person I'd like to watch my child anyway. Now, for my review. I love this daycare. They care for the kids as if they were their own. My son went through 10 daycares during his young age, because I felt they were not good enough. This place, is the best ever. I would never take my daughter out. I drive 20 min, past 5 daycares, to get to FHK. My daughter has grown and flourished here. And you can mention my name to any teacher that has been there for more than a few months, and they will know me. I am there often. I am involved with my child's care. Both the owner and director are the best you could wish for. I am truly blessed because of having FHK care for my daughter when I have to work. If you are looking for a place to trust with your most precious gifts, FHK is the place for them."
