Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Glen Rose

"My recent stay at Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Glen Rose, Texas, located at 1615 NE Big Bend Trail, left much to be desired. Unfortunately, it was not up to the standards we have come to expect from accommodation. The state of our room was subpar, with a broken couch bed that was only marginally improved by the replacement, which also exhibited issues. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing, with incomplete offerings and empty pans, contributing to an overall sense of inadequacy. The atmosphere of the hotel was notably lackluster, and it was evident that the property was struggling, possibly due to a shortage of staff. A silver lining in this otherwise unsatisfactory experience was the reception lady, who appeared to be the sole individual managing the property. Despite the challenges, she went out of her way to assist us, particularly with the broken washer and dryer by helping run a load of laundry. Her dedication and patience in addressing our concerns were commendable. However, the hotel's evident staffing issues and the need for substantial improvements to meet basic standards make it difficult for me to recommend Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Glen Rose. It is my hope that the management addresses these issues promptly to ensure a more positive experience for future guests."

"This is THE SPOT to stay folks. Look NO further. Michelle will set you up with the most comfortable bed in town! Her and her staff are top tier. Don't take my word for it, check for yourself. I will be a return customer. CLEAN COMFY PROMPT SERVICE HOT YUMMY BREAKFAST, Lots of choices on the food! Did not disappoint"

"This hotel is located in a great location. The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The hotel is pet friendly and clean. Breakfast was okay, it was hot and always ready on time. My only complaint is that we were on the 1st floor near the lobby and they allow people to sit in the breakfast area and watch tv or play games and drink. This wouldn’t be a big deal, but one night a group of people were really loud until 1:30 am. Thankfully the next night the same group shut it down by midnight. Maybe request a room on an upper floor to avoid that!"

"Unexpectedly clean and comfy. This hotel was excellent. Our room was very clean. Bed and pillows very comfy. We had the room with hot tub in it and it worked great. Room had been recently upgraded and painted with new carpet. Sheets were soft. Breakfast was normal for this level but everything was ultra clean. Right close to everything."

"We stayed in quality inn last year which is cross over the street to Baymont. definitely it is not "quality" as we expected. Baymont is way much better than quality inn. We changed one room after we entered to the room and found out there was hair and stains on the bed sheet. They changed room for us, but I don't know the reasons , every night we got home we had trouble to open the room and we had to go down stair and let the front desk to active the key. We stayed there three nights, every night we got to the door of our room, and we had to go downstairs to activate the key. It was a little bit annoying. Besides these couple things, everything else was all right."
