"This place was great. I needed an inexpensive stay in Cotulla and booked this hotel, and wondered about it until we arrived. The staff was friendly and engaged in conversation and joking around. The public area was clean and neat. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and we got fresh towels daily. The water pressure will knock you down compared to some hotels. As usual there are not enough electrical outlets. The only thing I did not like was the lighted mirror in the bathroom. It was ok but does not put out enough light for the room. Honestly I usually stay in Hilton properties, and I have seen one Homewood Suites in Midland that did not hold a candle to this hotel, and an Embassy Suites in Flagstaff, AZ that this Microtel was far superior. Yes I'd stay again. It is Cotulla's best kept secrete and bargain."

"Excellent service and very friendly. Baron the manager always made sure things were taken care of if you had any issues at all. I've been with a work crew here for two weeks now and I haven't had any issues at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"I'm pretty sure that they are aware of their location. It works, in a pinch. Catered breakfast burritos lack something to be desired. Quite dry, actually. McDonald's isn't far away, though. Beds are relatively comfortable. Room toiletries are basic, barrel scrapings. As in not great. Not awful. I would/will continue to go here. As long as I continue to be assigned rooms with fully functional ac systems & stink free rooms. However, there's a threshold for what a traveling/once-a-month/working American will tolerate! I do a pretty thorough room inspection at every one of my preferred hotels. And, I have yet to find anything that would make me want to leave THIS place. I stay in better Microtels. This one is teetering on the edge of being dropped from my personal roster. Three years & counting."

"I was visiting family and needed a place to sleep for awhile and decided to stay here cause the price was cheap, which was awesome but you get what you pay for. I walked in my room and put my stuff on the bed and started my normal check of the room like I always do when I stay at a hotel. Well lets just say it was not pleasant. The floor had flakes from the walls that looked like it was from painting. The bed sheets had some stains, the table top by the microwave had a spill stain and the shower had hair on the walls. I dealt with it cause I was exhausted and waited to tell the front desk in the morning. Well morning came and I was checking out and informed them of all the things wrong with the room. I even showed her pictures of the mess and all she had was excuses for me. Telling me the room had just been painted. So I asked her if she could compensate me with anything for having to stay in a dirty room. She smiled and said no. At least she smiled I guess but to literally not make my stay pleasant, she does nothing. This place is terrible! This place should be one of those hourly motels if you know what I mean. Definitely spend a like extra money and stay at a better hotel around there."
