"I think they use a lower frequency for laser hair removal because it seems weak and ineffective compared to other lasers at dermatology offices (more expensive). The lower frequency makes us come back for more sessions -> more $ for business. In the long run the $ comes to almost the same as “pricier” lasers. But with the extra amount of time to remove hair, it’s not worth. If it’s too good to be true, it is (Groupon). Even though I already had prior laser treatments, they wanted to start the frequency from square 1, which doesn’t make sense and is largely ineffective. Also huge waste of $ AND TIME. The results here are sooooooooooo slow and it just doesn’t remove hair as well as other places. Laser techs are also spotty, rushed and don’t laser all areas properly. I have to personally request certain spots even though it should be a given as part of the area. Shady business practice."
