"During my recent visit to an escape room venue for the "Hunted" session, I had a mix of enjoyable and challenging moments, but also encountered some disappointments. Jay, one of the staff members, stood out with his exceptional friendliness and knowledge. However, another staff member lacked professionalism and respect. The escape room itself was well-constructed, featuring intriguing twists and challenging puzzles that provided a thrilling sense of accomplishment upon our successful escape. However, there were issues with certain mechanical parts not functioning properly, slightly impacting the overall experience. After completing the room, a staff member mentioned their presence was to prevent us from taking any locks or keys with us on our way out. This comment left us disappointed rather than celebrating our victory. Considering these experiences, I believe a 1-star rating is warranted, as there are areas in need of improvement."

"Beat the zombie room with 21min and 27 sec to go but the problem wasn't really the room. It was the workers. The person who brought us in spoke way too fast. And when we were trying to open a door another worker came in and just put in the codes and opened it. We didn't ask for help. It's upsetting when we're playing and the workers have no patient with the players. Also we were not offered to get a photo so we just left."

"HORRIBLE!! Most of their devices to open doors, locks, or safes don’t work. They steal 3 minutes of your time for each additional clue after the 3rd one. So when they give you the clue that’s the same code you’ve entered 5 times in the same device, you lose 3 minutes. The majority of their clues and functions make zero logical or thematic sense. You can’t book online and they don’t have a phone number. I’ve done 20+ escape rooms all varying difficulty and complexities, but this was easily the worst and least professional one I’ve been too."

"My dad and I went a couple days ago and did the Diamond Heist room. The attendant was really sweet, and the room itself was fun to solve, except that they hamstrung us on at least 2 points. At one point you have to put a code in a safe, and the way you get that code is highly likely to result in errors. That wouldn’t be a huge deal except for the fact the safe locks you out after a few wrong tries, and you have no way of knowing how long it will continue to be locked. So if you go back and try to put in another try too early, it will lock again. We wasted probably 5-7 minutes before the attendant finally came in and manually unlocked the safe for us to be able to continue. Then when we got to a part where you’re supposed to use a black light to find the next clue, the flashlight they provided had such weak batteries it was essentially dead. We again spent 5-7 minutes trying to figure out what to do since SURELY they wouldn’t give you a tool that doesn’t work to find the next clue… right?? Unfortunately, that was in fact what happened. When time ran out and the attendant came in to tell us we failed, we asked what we were supposed to do. He tried to shine the light where the clue was, and realized it wasn’t showing anything. He sheepishly said there wasn’t anything he could do about it, but that he recommended another room the next time we came. I’m not sure I’m gonna go back and spend another $50 just to fail when I’m not given the right tools to complete the game. Edited to add that when the owner commented below to email them to resolve this, I did, but I never received a reply. The email was sent to Cinergy on 1/27/22 and it is now 8/3/22."

"Just finished the zombie escape room, and multiple things malfunctioned. First the flashlight that they gave us didn’t work, and they didn’t replace it for the first half hour, than when we were correctly doing the puzzle, it malfunctioned and didn’t work, The employee let us continue to try for 20 minutes before coming in, and trying the exact same thing, and even he couldn’t get it to work, so had to override it and skip that step, then a few other things didn’t work, he only added 4 minutes to our time. Overall waste of money"
