"The absolute WORST store in amarillo. I bought a space heater and instead of helping the lady was rude and said they hadn't had any returns on this type of heater. I bought it and I live literally 1 minute from the store and when I took it out it was broken so when I called the store and she was hateful and hung up on me when I tried to explain we dint have any heat in our house right now. Awful customer service. Plus they don't even answer the store phone. I've worked for Dollar General before and never treated people as bad as they do. What an awful store and cashier. Definitely do NOT recommend this store AT ALL!"

"This store does not honor their marked price. That is false advertising. Just went in to buy the large bottle of Lysol lemon-scented disinfectant. Shelf price was 3.00; register price was 3.25. Cashier said she could not fix the register price. So, I declined to deal with deception and bought it for 3.00 at Big Lots."

"The young man who was working was very helpful. He had a lot of work to do, but went out of his way to help me. I forgot my phone at the register & he put it away for me also waited for me to come pick it up. Great customer service!"

"I like going to Dollar General at 34th and Bell in Amarillo the best. It's so clean and so organized and the people working there are so kind. If you can't find what you're looking for I would be surprised because their organizational skills are awesome! But if you can't find what you're looking for just ask they are very willing to help you. Plenty of parking and as well as handicap parking. Lots of choices on things you use at home at very reasonable prices using their app add your coupons and you can get good savings. They have things that would be awesome for Christmas gifts not to mention Christmas is just around the corner so if you don't have a lot to spend be conservative and shop at Dollar General. I love that store! I liked it so much I started working there. And today we were told by our Regional manager we have the BEST store in Texas. Good job Lexi!!!"

"This is the Dollar General I usually go to. In the past it was always a mess, isles full of boxes that need to be put up, nothing priced, a lot of out of date food, etc. Then it got better, cleaner, more organized. Now it seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes it's a disaster, sometimes it's not. I know one thing for sure, they definitely need to learn how to price items. It's usually a complete guessing game what something cost, and they still have a lot of out of date food on the shelf."
