"I stopped by this new Michael's with a friend earlier today. We couldn't find one of the items we were looking for, so as I was paying for my purchase, we asked the clerk if they still carried that specific product. Unfortunately, they don't so I paid for two items. Somehow in the conversation, speaking to both the clerk and my friend, my bag disappeared. I asked the clerk, where did my purchase go. she just shrugged and said I don't know. Then, without helping or looking she just left the cash register. The new clerk that walked up wasn't interested in helping us find my bag either. We had taken just a few steps away when I realized she never handed me my purchase, which we told both the first clerk and the second. Neither seemed to care. My friend then went behind the cash register and that is where she had put it. I understand it might have been a mistake, but both clerks acted nonchalant and weren't in the least friendly or helpful. On top of that, my friend informed the first clerk that she had seen two teenagers putting items in their backpacks. No reaction, just a shrug. They are stealing as we speak. The only response was a shrug. I don't think I will be returning to this Michael's again. And if other customers are treated like this, you will lose customers."
