"I always go to the one on Gosling, because I don’t have a car I went to that one on meals on wheels , very disappointed with the bakery side , got some turkey and now I’m sick to my stomach and I know it was the turkey , it didn’t smell very good but I still eat it , thinking maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to smell and the guy that waited on me acted like I was bothering him , no customer service experience and the lady that was putting the bread out also rude , no eye contact, no smile or is there anything I can help with . I will keep going to the other Kroger .I’m retired now but I used to do customer service and cashier and from 1 to 10 , u get a 1..worse Kroger ever ..no wonder everyone goes to HEB ."

"This used to be a 5-star grocery store. They have a pharmacy. A great cosmetics section. A floral section. Nice bakery. Lots of wines and beers. And most importantly they employ people with mental and physical challenges which I very much admire as a large corporation. Some of the sweetest people that work there are the baggers. The biggest issue with Kroger is that they never have enough employees and they are almost insistent that customers use self checkout. So I started going to H‑E‑B and never have that issue. If I need one or two items I will go to Kroger but I don’t want to self check a whole cart of items. I doubt anyone does. The Starbucks in-store is very nice and quick however they have an employee that wears a name tag “Short Bus Jen”. I find it strange that a grocery store that values all types of employees would permit this person to wear a name tag like this. The pharmacy has good prices especially if you use the Kroger RX card. They also have a huge selection of gift cards. But unfortunately Kroger has fallen from grace with their lack of personal customer care like forcing self checkout. They will simply never be able to compete with H‑E‑B."

"Every time I go, I find something expired. I bought rice that was expired by 6 months. Their produce isn't fresh either. However, there's never anyone there on the weekends so if you don't want a crowded shopping experience, it's your place."

"We were visiting Woodlands TX and stopped by at this nice grocery store. Very well stocked and professional staff. The lady at the deli did not want to give me 7 oz of salami, upsold me to 8 oz since I guess nobody bothers with less than half a pound over here :-) However I like how they have ham and cheese pre-sliced in the cooler, just grab and go. We bought some Mexican soda that we couldn't open, because we didn't have a bottle opener. Upon asking the staff was nice enough to open the bottle for us. The location of this store is out of this world, with so many trees in the area. I also loved the tiny 7 oz bottles of beer they sell here. We don't have those back home!"
