"I had came in for white french tips and left with awful nails. The lady that had did my nails said “you’re nails are to tiny to do French tips” I have gotten French tips done on me before and never had an experience like this before I would not recommend"

"Go to Tropical Nail Spa. I learned my lesson the hard way. I'm going to be one of those basic people who say "if I could leave zero stars I would". I decided to go to Hola Nails because my grandma would visit this place to get her nails painted. I figured if she likes the place I would too. I have no idea what their issue was that night but it was the worst nail service I have ever experienced. I walked in and greeted them and asked for acrylic nails. Picked my color. And sat in the front. They were working on two people when I walked in. It was about 10 or so minutes when one of them called me over. They were still working on the person ahead of me but wanted to get started on me. They asked me what shape I wanted and I told them I didn't know the names and asked if I could see some examples. This was only my second time getting acrylic nails. The employee went on to say "round is round and square is square". Again, I asked if I could see examples since I was sure there was more than two types of nail shapes. They laughed at me and repeated themselves. I asked again and they finally brought some examples for me to look at. Once I decided on a shape they started clipping my natural nails down. I asked if they could file and they huffed and said "no". I asked why not. They said they can cut them. I said I don't want them cut I just want them evened out. They angrily began filing my nails, making them even more misshapen. Then they took out the electric nail filer and filed down my nail beds roughly. It was at this point that they went back to work on the person next to me. I consider myself to be a patient person. I waited for over 20 minutes, before I asked how much longer I had to wait. It was then that one of the employees took my jacket and moved it to another chair. Without any consent they switched me to another person and started to glue on the nail tips. They did it so quickly (and badly) there was glue under my nails and some acrylic nails were lifted. It was a mess. Then they decided to work on someone new who came in. I asked when I was going to have consistent service and they said "soon". I waited another 30 minutes. I felt so stupid at that point. I asked them how much did I have to pay for what they had done. They ignored me. I asked again and they just waved at me to leave. They said "just go". I told them their service was disappointing and left. This was the day before my birthday and I was so angry that my nails were left in such terrible shape. I searched on Google maps to find a place open at that time and luckily I found Tropical Nail Spa. They were the kindest people and treated me like one of their friends. Don't make the same mistake I did, avoid this place if you can."
