"Great evening at the Fort Bend County Museum. I was there for one of their functions and had a chance to try the great food."

"Do not waste your money on the Combo Ghost tour! I purchased 4 tickets at $25 (member price) apiece for my husband’s birthday. We went with our daughters. Well let me say what a ridiculously terrible “tour” I don’t know if it was training day for a tour guide position, but this chick sucked!!! She read off script that she couldn’t even stick to, not that it mattered as it was filled with rumors from so and so but nothing actually substantiated as far as paranormal activity. I corrected her when she pointed out Sandy McGee’s. She never mentioned it was a pharmacy at one time, nor did she mention the man and nurse that has been seen upstairs. When I told her she said “it’s not in my papers” She never faced us when speaking, she faces the buildings so no one could hear her. We left immediately after the first part of the tour! I would have given the tour with knowledge/history/facts/, and made it interactive and fun for the attendees. Shame on them for not doing a simple job correctly. Save your money!!!!"

"We had a great time visiting this museum to learn more about Texas history, which included info on Stephen Austin’s old 300 and a map showing who had received land grants in the local area. We also took the tour of the homes, the guide did an excellent job explaining the history of the homes and answered everyone’s questions. The museum seems to be newly renovated, and a nice space to learn of local history."

"Love this museum! Kid friendly and there are always child-centered, family-centered activities to do. During the summer, there are themed weekend where you can learn about different aspects of Texas history and the people that made it happen. The staff is helpful and very professional. The museum itself is not large, but it is located in a quaint area. The main house was closed to visitors, but it is worth visiting when it reopens."

"Loved finding out about local and State history that was shared at the Fort Bend Museum. My daughter's 4th grade class went to the museum on a field trip. What was really great was the amount of hands-on, interactive activities the kids were able to participate in. I would highly recommend a visit to the museum. I personally learned interesting facts from this trip that has me looking into local history."
