"Looks nice from far away and it's free. 4 slides taped off for repair in the playground. Fishing only yielded garbage (clothing and plastic bags) from the lake where the creek widens to the lake. And one sandal. It was a nice warm March 2nd day and it wasn't exactly packed. Fished for catfish and carp. Didn't even catch a turtle. Maybe that big Alligator Snapping Turtle scared the game fish away."

"This is a nice spot for spending a little time beside the lake, hiking or enjoying the views. There're birds beside the lake and might be a good place for a little birdwatching. There's a little pier runs to the lake. We got a little snack from a food cart that serves in that area and that is good. The restrooms are not great but you can find a functional one inside. No entry fees are needed but the parking lot was pretty full in the afternoon."

"Very nice park is got a mile track around a massive lake thats open with ducks wandering around. It has many activities like a well maintained basketball court, tennis court, open gym and a playground. In the summer it has a pool. Its got a good amount of people jogging with dogs a nice get away."

"Still one of the most enjoyable multi-use outdoor communities of the Alamo City. May be wise to carry protective devices for yourself, children, and dogs due to the undisciplined, untrained dogs that exhibit vicious tendencies while leashed."

"What a wonderful place to spend some quality family time. Away from devices and connected to a park full of wildlife. So relaxing. And what a privilege it is to see the smile of your child’s face glowing with pure joy. Very easy to get to. Plenty of parking. And plenty of friendly ducks. We were able to get up close and personal with the swan. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to use the playground or basketball court this time. But there is plenty to do here, plenty of games, you can bring and have a blast with your family, your kids, and your loved ones. Don’t underestimate the joy of the park."
