"There really isn’t much to explore that would warrant making the drive out here… unless you live close by. Two easy trails that both lead back to a gravel parking lot. That’s pretty much it. The grounds are clean and maintained but it’s only a matter of time until people discover this park and ruin it. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were only two other cars here, both of which were gone by the time I finished walking the trail. 30-40 mins or so."

"Even though the park is not quite yet completed, I definitely enjoyed the time spent there. There's something about the unfinished and rustic nature of the area that I really enjoyed. At one point, I was quite literally the only person there so if you're looking for a place of solitude, come and take advantage of it before the park becomes too popular. There are two trails available, one being the Acquea trail and the other the Yucca Trail. At this point, no matter what trail you take, they're going to wind up running into each other. The total trail system as of November 5th 2023 is maybe 2 mi around a trip so if you're looking to get along hike in, you're going to have to do some meandering back through the trails. The trails themselves are unpaved and mostly flat though there is a slight elevation when coming up through the Yucca trail over one of the aqueducts. I would definitely bring some bug repellent walking through the wooded trails and be sure to watch your step because I saw a 5-ft Coral snake slither by the parking lot and another patron told me he saw a very large spider in the porta-Potty. This park has so much potential and I can't wait until it is completed."

"Me and my pupper came to check out the trail. What is there so far is pretty easy to walk. Nice morning, got to see some cute little flowers and one phoebe bird keeping an eye on us. So I didn’t notice any dog poop bags yet available so you should definitely bring your own. Went back few days later people are already leaving their trash on trail and marking bench. As we were driving out about ten turkeys flew in front of us to walk near the house which was cool to see. Hopefully the extra amenities will be added soon, unlike the trail on 281/Roosevelt. There was supposed to be parking added and still has not been done few years later."

"It's still in the early stages of development, but it's already a nice place to walk and explore! Because there are not many people there, even the porta potty is super clean!"

"Exciting to see this already open to the public, the master plan offers a lot more to come. I imagine this park will be great once they open up the river access section and more of the property!"
