"This park is absolutely beautiful. The way the trees grow is so unique to anything else I've seen."

"Beautiful park, very spacious for several families to play soccer or baseball. Also a small skate board area. Open fields but plenty of shaded areas as well. You will find a spring feed pool in the center. A large 2-3 mile trail around the park. Very large trees that you won't find in other San antonio parks. Ample parking. Several sitting areas and a handful of BBQ pits with tables. There is also a tree shaded playground for the kids."

"This place far exceeded my expectations. Definitely a great spot to cool off in this heat. Families brought coolers in with food and drinks. Saw others bring their own chairs as the seating is limited. Pics don’t do enough justice for this spring fed pool!"

"This place was a lot of fun! I think you're supposed to sign-in and it's free. It was real clear so I just walked in, it was pretty lax and laid back, other than the 20 lifeguards which is good! The water isn't real deep, and the pool is huge as you can see. Lot's of seating around the pool, and picnic areas surrounding the outside of the gate."
