"Wow. This place cleaned up good. This is a PSA to the people raised in the 80s: it is no longer dangerous to come near here at night. There is a whole splash pad, relatively new playground equipment, and even an obstacle course and the MUCH MORE WELL LIT AND OPEN hiking trails. The parking is spacious, and there are ALWAYS plenty of people. Oh and there are ALWAYS ice cream trucks parked here, so prepare."

"Truly a surprise. Coming out of Beeville to visit San Antonio and found this little gym when it was 106 outside. What a great way to spend 3 hours"

"First time trying this park and we loved it! the playground is BIG and it has stuff for all ages, my 3.5 yo and 1 yo enjoyed it very much! We didn't have the chance to walk all the areas but I saw skate area, picnic area, dog park and walking trails! We live on the other side of town about 35 min away but will definitely make the trip and plan lunch with the kiddos here."

"I was very impressed at the quality of this park/splash pad. Entry is free. The water was cool despite the heat. The bathrooms were very clean and accessible. The playground is even wheelchair accessible as is the rest of the splash pad. The pavilions are very large not sure if you have to reserve them or if its first come first serve. Just be sure to bring chairs and possible some shade. I would recommend this location and will be return."
