"The park is conveniently located near 35 South (Alamo street exit) and across from Ruby City on Camp Street ( It is considered part of Ruby City). Fortuitously, I happened to visit in the last hour of the day (the park closed at 1800) -- there was not another soul nearby (so I thought). Shade and places to sit are readily available allowing respite from the harsh Texas sun should one desire to contemplate life, the universe and everything. A note: While taking pictures with my phone I was approached by a member of staff who told me pictures with the phone are ok, but a pictures with a "real" camera are prohibited without advance permission. All in all, Chris Park is a beautiful patch of green situated in the the concrete canyons of San Antonio!"
