"We got front row seats (upper level) for the Rob Schneider show. LOVE him! They had the fog machine on that evening and the smoke would go straight to everyone upstairs. There was no good air circulation and the theatre was stuffy and too warm where it was uncomfortable. Temperatures outside was 50s."
"This is a nice, cozy venue! There really isn't a bad seat in these old theaters, but they are cozy. Tall guys be warned, there isn't much leg room. There were plenty of drink stations, so waiting for a drink wasn't a big issue. The theater is easy to get in and out of in terms of parking. I used the Market Street garage and just walked two blocks to the theater. The Houston Street garage can be a bit crowded to get in and out of. It's not a problem if you leave early enough for your show. It was my first time in the Empire Theater, but I'd definitely go back again to see another show."
"Very nice theater. Saw Tommy Emmanuel and Jerry Douglas. Great performers. **** Take Note**** The first step going to the bathroom is not up to building code. It's about 1.5 inch off and a tripping hazard."
"Great, nice theater that has kept an old look and feel to it. Steep stairs and balcony seats as well as tight fitting seats. We watch the Simon and Garfunkel Story which was really good as well."
"Lovely, intimate venue. Only drawback is that the restrooms are i. The basement via the elevator so make that trip before you take your seat. Not a bad seat in the house. The box seats are actually situated for an excellent view."
