"Iv been working with Erik Johnson for about 4 weeks now and I cannot say enough good things about him as a trainer and the gym facility itself. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and respectful of my beginner skill level. He’s always looking out for potential injury points or ability plateaus and is constantly making sure that I’m comfortable in the movement but also making sure I’m staying to complacent in a load range. I’ll definitely hire him again in the future and recommend him to anyone that asks me. The gym itself is incredibly clean and well organized. The owners obviously prioritized quality equipment and making sure it’s going to last. I believe iv met the owner and if it’s the guy I thinking of, he seems like a really nice gent. The atmosphere is really laid back here and everyone really just wants to mind their own business and get some work in. I hope this place sticks around for a really long time. I know I’m a customer for the foreseeable future."
"This is an awesome gym! Management and trainers are great. Abe is super helpful! They really are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Has a lot of great equipment for everyone. From the beginner that goes occasionally to the advanced bodybuilder that competes, this gym is for you. People that go are also great. Everyone is respectful, helpful and considerate of others. Can’t tell you how many gyms I’ve been to where that is not the case! You will definitely be very comfortable going to Powerhouse gym in Granbury."
