"We are a family of 7 and were really struggling with the price of groceries. For the past 4 months I have driven from Petersburg once a month and our pantry now lasts well over a month for a fraction of the cost! We also haul back a good portion for our local food pantry. Everyone that works here is so nice!"
"I have going to this store for over 20 years. I used to find really great deals and could fill a whole suv with groceries for under $100. I have no problem with expired or close to expiring items. Here lately I find that most items, if not on "sale" are ridiculously priced, to be expired or close to expiring. If I want to pay full price for items I will go to retail stores and get fresh items. I have been so disappointed with the last few trips to this store. Something needs to change, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way."
"I was just in the store with my husband and the young blonde girl that was checking was so rude and hateful. I don't know why she was so mad but she was slamming the items around and had a mad face . I think the store needs to hire better cashiers with customer skills. With the store not really having much going for them that kinda treatment will make people not come back."
"An expired can is still good for a long, long time. I have bought hundreds, maybe thousands of expired cans and have never had a problem. (Read on the internet about it.). I have eaten a ton of meat and dairy products out of the meat case here and it has always been great. They arrive at the store frozen and thawed before placing it in the case. Actually, once in a while I've found some meat a little bit frozen in the case. This place is a very popular, which proves that it's a great place. Yes, the bread on the back wall is pretty stale and other little things but count all the savings!"
