"First timer to Midland here - and please, someone help me understand why anyone went to the trouble to make a park so hostile for dogs. Why even bother building a dog park if you’re going to fill it with gravel that will burn paws 6 months of the year? There seems to be more than enough water for the football field sized grass park 10 feet away (where dogs aren’t even welcome to walk). The gravel was burning to the touch today and it’s only April, I can’t imagine anyone that cares about their dog letting them play there in the summer months."
"It's not done for Christmas but it's beautiful view. The playground is small but the walk and view is more than enough. There's also dog parks which is nice add. Can't wait until it all the way done to come again. There is a lot of options walking distance like ice cream and food."
