"Do Not give your hard earned money to this man. I needed my dance shoes buckle moved. Kept my shoes two weeks. The job was poorly done. I still had the same problem of a bulky strap. I said to undue the bad work and I would take back my shoes. He said I would still have to pay twice. I said fine give me my shoes. He grabbed them and put them under the counter. Told me i would now need to pay cash because he reserves the right to not accept my credit card. I was so hurt and insulted. Please do not give this shop your business. Very unprofessional and mean spirited."

"Do not take your business here! I made the mistake of trying out this place instead of the repair shop I typically go to in Alamo Heights. They charged me $80 for new pairs of taps on 4 pairs of heels. Taps are inexpensive so there is no excuse for it to cost this much. This place is a ripoff. Their pricing is unclear too. I thought it was going to cost me half of what I paid based on the ticket I received when I dropped them off. Plus it takes 2 weeks which is a long time for a basic repair like tap replacements. If you’re looking for a reasonable and quality shoe repair shop in Alamo Heights take it to Cobblestone Shoe Hospital."

"This was my 1st time coming here. I dropped off a pair of shoes to get the bottoms glued. I dropped off one sneaker & a casual dress shoe. They had my shoes for about 2wks. When I went to pick up my shoes they were charging me $20 for each shoe total of $40 I left my shoes there I can buy another pair. Will never go back again & wouldn't recommend. There's no reason a shoe repair place is charging that much to glue the bottom of your shoes. The glue only cost at most $5. Just because you're located where you are at doesn't mean you should charge a crazy price for something simple."

"The repairs are professional and meticulous! The in-staff is friendly, courteous and care that a customer is satisfied. It took me awhile to find a good shop and I'm taking my shoes in 3-6 pair at a time."

"I took a pair of J&M boots for repair of sole stitch/glue. It was a first for me. I love these boots and had them for about 3 years and decided to give them another lease of life. The man that helped me seem a little lost and told me to pick them up in exactly one week and so I thought "great!". I went to pick my babies 9 days later and the same man tells me that "They are not ready, sorry, but they'll be here ready tomorrow afternoon". I said I was a little disappointed with the service and asked him "Are you sure they are not among al those (about 30 or 40 bags of repaired) shoes seating on the floor?" He then asked me , "what do they look like? I wanted to said "like shoes but with higher sides" I described them and he turned around and said, let me check and then went around the corner behind a wall and came back with my shoes. They were repaired alright , I can see the whitish glue they didn't bother to cover. I was expecting to see my shoes shined and polished as their website gallery of "before and after", but my shoes seem slightly dirty and scuffed, the same way they looked when I turned them in. I must say the price was very reasonable but the warranty is only good for 30 days! So I protested and the man said, "Well see, It depends on how you treat your shoes that can make the difference on how long they will last, I don't know if you are going to walk in them in the rain or anything like that" At that time I just paid up and grab my shoes and walked out."
