"What a great establishment! I need my boots before I left out of town. At first, they said they were not able to get them to me in time. Then I was told that they were able to do it and they made sure that I would have them before I went out of down for Christmas. That was outstanding Customer Service! I could not thank them more for making this happen for me. If you ever need boots or shoes repaired, this is the place to go. I highly recommend them out of any of the repair shops I've dealt with."
"First of all, they are very nice people. I take all my boot and shoe repair needs to them. They rebuilt my 55 year old cowboy bolts to almost new. They're sewn my work shoes, timberland mom's and my twisted x work bolts. All come back stronger and better looking than new. Outstanding workmanship. They just resoled my daughter's favorite bolts. She reports that they are now super comfortable."
"I brought them a brand new pair of shoes to alter for the Homecoming Dance on the evening of September 30th. I explained to them that this was the situation. I paid in full up front for alterations, with a pickup/completion date of September 30th (see photo). I show up to pick up the shoes on the day of the dance and the store is closed, with a note on the door(see photo). Now, I have to go emergency shoe shopping for this dance. I paid a premium rate for alterations for no reason. This is very troubling to me, as if they knew they were going to be closed, they should have called me the day before to come and pickup the shoes. I understand that this is a small, family owned shop, but if you can't stick to your store hours, hire some part time help. I've used this store about 6 or 8 times over the years with no problems. Update 10/11/2023 JD is the most honorable, stand up man I've met in a long time. Without having to explain, he took 100% accountability for the mishap and apologized. What else could I possibly want?!? He also made it right by reimbursing me the cost of the alterations, the shoes, the replacement shoes, and some! I was completely blown away. I truly believe this was just an unfortunate event that and it is not a common occurrence. I will return as a customer, should the need arise."
