"Man, what an experience! I entered this store not knowing if I could find a boot to accommodate my flat feet. To my surprise, I was able to find a wonderful boot that was very affordable with the help of the attendant named Tyrone. In fact, he helped both my wife and I find nice boots that feel and look so good on our feet!"

"Don’t go here if you’re a minority. You will get racially profiled. Racist employees! I went here with a friend and nephew. Friend bought over $1,000 in merchandise and nephew bought a hat. While at register cops approached us. The staff had called them because according to cop “they thought my nephew was going to steal the hat” a hat he had already paid for so I was very confused. I was livid and immediately asked my friend to return the over $1k in merchandise and would have returned the hat as well but had to leave to not cause any more problems because even though we paid for everything we were still being asked to leave. Horrible humiliating experience!! Would give zero stars if I could."

"I’d give this store zero stars if I could. I went in for a return (Christmas gift) & was met with hostility from Nadia a “manager” there. I didn’t have a receipt for my return, I needed to exchange the boots for a different size. I was getting the exact same boots by the way. She wasn’t just dismissive, she was also very rude & unprofessional. Didn’t try to help me or try to sort it out. Before I headed to the Waxahachie location, I called ahead to multiple stores to make sure I could exchange without a receipt. I was told I could. I got a call a few days later from the store manager who apologized & offered a 15% discount if I was to go back. Nadia got a slap on the wrist while i had to go through the trouble of driving over 45 miles just to exchange my Christmas gift because she didn’t want to help a customer. I’m surprised she didn’t lose her job."

"My experience in boot barn was excellent!!!! thanks to the employee Jocelyn. Jocelyn was one of the sweetest employees there and helped me pick out some new boots. I definitely left the store satisfied with my purchase and excellent customer service"

"Purchased boots from them. Brought them back a week later after wearing them only a couple of times because they were causing knee and leg problems. Manager snapped at me as soon as she glanced at them, saying they were in too poor of condition to take back, pointing to wear on the soul that was already on the shoes when I first purchased them from the store. I even mentioned this scuffing on the sole to employees when I originally purchase them. The employees said that was how the boots came from the factory. And now the manager claims that they were too messed up to accept a return. Apparently they are willing to sell boots in a condition that they will not accept as returns. (I didn't bring this up at the time because I wasn't in the mood to fight, though the manager seemed quite heated for one) I did however make clear the boots original condition, which the manager disregarded as I spoke. The other employee was very helpful and gave me some advice on what to do with the boots now that I couldn't return them. The manager just seemed to be highly agitated and aggressive during the whole interaction. Overall, I used to enjoy shopping here. But after this weird interaction, I don't plan to return. In light of bigger chains with solid customer service and better prices, and other small businesses who stand behind their work, I have no need of a place like this Boot Barn. - I have included photos of the boots and the apparent factory standard scuffing on the soles-"
