"I showed up for my appointment with Kat and there was no one there and the shop was closed. I was in town for a conference, and had left the conference and driven over from Brownsville for this appt. I had to wait about an hour for Kat to show up. She claimed she "accidentally deleted" the appt. The original email request that I sent the shop, which included important info and a reference photo, never got forwarded to Kat. Javi only gave her my name and email, so she had to sketch up my tattoo then and there. It's an outline of my late dogs' ears. But the first stroke she did is much thicker than the rest of the tattoo (far left side), and this is what I think about every time I look at my tattoo, instead of thinking about my rescue dog who died, who the tattoo is in memory of. Very disappointing experience."

"Javi, the tattoo artist, did great work. My tattoo was simple but I was very happy with the results. He kept asking me how I was feeling through the process, which was great for someone who has minimal tattoo work. It took a while to get started, though, so you might want to adjust your schedule depending on how big/complex the tattoo is."
