"I brought my boots in to have a zipper replaced and was told it would be ready the following week. And when I went back on the day I was told to he told me something about The zipper pull not working or something so he asked me to come back the following day. When I did he told me same excuse as though he hadn't just said the same thing the day before an and I was given the impression even the day before that he hadn't even actually looked at my boots and was just looking for an excuse.. I asked him to give me my boot back so that I could take it elsewhere and then it took him about 15 minutes to even locate my boot . When he gave me my boot back it was very clear that hadn't even been touched. Gas is not cheap right now and I do not appreciate being given the run round. These boots were made for walking sir...and that's just what they'll do"

"Shortly after bringing them my favorite boots to be resoled, they seem to have closed shop and won't answer the phone."

"A historically horrendous experience. Although the staff is nice, they took MONTHS to complete my order after promising just a week. Went by multiple times and was met with excuses, dodges, avoidance, and missing shoes. I'm really not sure what's going on with this establishment; hopefully they can figure things out. It was almost comical how ridiculous it was. Broken promises, lost shoes, and when the shoes were delivered, they weren't even fixed!! The one star is for the fair price and the polite service. Seemed like the nice people, but the whole ordeal was disappointing at best."

"I dropped off my dads favorite boots more then a month ago to be re shaped and painted. They're supposed to be finished before the 10th of april on his bday and store has been closed. I drive there every day to see if they're open but nothing. Not even a call to say hey we won't be able to finish in time something happened or anything no heads up or a notice. I just want my dads favorite boots back to take them else where and my money back."

"So, today was my first time to visit and was immediately disappointed. The lady in front of me was on her second return to pick up her boots, and they still weren't ready. I asked her about the service when the man went to the back. She said he does good work but he's slow. I decided to give him a shot, regardless. I gave him my boots, and he gave me my ticket. As I walked out the door, I looked and it said $30.85. I walked back inside and asked if the price was correct for replacing the rubber on the heels. When he said yes, I said "Oh no!," grabbed my boots and walked out. I'll take them to Mr. Webb in Cleburne for $17 plus tax."
