"Service was worse than bad. Service was rude, ignorant, disrespectful. Totally shameful. Signed up for haircut using on-line app. Arrived a few minutes early, they were backed, running behind schedule. Minor issue, it happens, you have to be a bit flexible. Waited 30 minutes for my turn. Someone NOT signed up on app walked in 2 minutes before my turn, said they just needed a "neck trim and a bit on the sides, could they fit in". It was 5 minutes to closing time. I had waited extra 30 minutes. They were apologizing to all clients as they checked them out for the unexpected wait. "This place just keeps getting worse and worse. I was told my appointment would be 12:57 and arrived on time. There was only one stylist when I arrived as the other went to lunch. She eventually came back and was moving a bucket around the salon, for what I do not know. My time kept moving so at 1::37 which is 40 minutes late I had to leave. This place has been understaffed for 2 years now with typically only two people working and 6+ empty salon seats because they can’t get anyone to work here."

"EDIT: I went ahead and got the haircut as a walk-in. Mel a stylist from Kyle who was just helping them out bc of how short staffed they are @ Beecaves, and she was great! My hair and beard trim were 10/10. Her deminer was so calm and peaceful it was contagious. By no means does that mean she worked slow, I was in and out in no time and was able to meet with my clients only a little late (Given the original delay this speaks volumes about her execution). I went in upset and not ready to be befriended by my stylist. I wasn't looking for an interaction at all; but for darn sure not a positive one. Her abilities and personality changed my day back to good, from what I was sure to be a long day of being behind schedule and trudging uphill. Well done SportsClips for hiring this woman. She's a person you should like to keep around. I waited an hour+ to get a haircut bc they didn't open @9 like they are supposed to. Then set a timer so the second it turned available to check in online I did so from parking lot. It showed me this saying it was already booked and no availability. Could they have at least put something online that doesn't waste everybody's time, who isn't from around here or isnt in the loop? It shouldn't say walk-in's welcome when they are so busy that you cannot even check in online! Have respect for the clients time even if it looks as unprofessional managed as it is. Truth is truth no matter how pathetic it seems. I understand being understaffed and how frustrating that can be; but out of respect for the customer's time at least give them a way to find out they are wasting their time if they wait."
