King's Razor

"Avoid King's Razor Military beware! This gentleman is very friendly. He is funny and quite the conversationalist. I liked him, but I still will never go back. Nevertheless, I wish him and his family all the best. He receives a one star because, though he is very pleasant and cuts are only $20.00 bucks, he'd have recieved a tip (and repeat business) had he only cut my hair in the manner I'd requested. 'Long on top, short on sides.' Not a tall order, or? Upon completion, he asked, 'me, how d'you like it?' As if I could have replied, no, it's too short, please make it longer. He wanted to make certain it was short enough. My request was for skin-tight sides... not much shorter than skin-tight. The top was entirely too short. Thus, my issue with the barber. He speaks more, perhaps when he should listen. Calling in advance, I had an appointment. I arrived 10 minutes prior, yet there was another patron (walkin) in the chair. Waiting for my turn, I expected to be seated next. It didn't happen this way. Next in line was 'another' walkin. He was taken, then unbelievably another. What point is there in an appointment syetem if a person can not be seen when appointed? Perhaps I had a very important meeting to attend, military board, or retirement ceremony. Answer Should your hairstyle mean anything to you, you're better off going elsewhere or cutting it yourself. At least, this is my experience. Lastly, he also cut my best friend's hair uneven and essentially crooked and uneven. He's VERY unhappy also. Should the barber reply to this review with an apology or excuse, I have only this to say, 'Sometimes you have but one chance to do a good job.' Tbh, I'm not angry, only disappointed. Nice fella, but should maybe consider another line of work. Stay cool Fort Worth, but if you go here, you won't be."

"He turned me around instantly when I asked about my son getting a hair cut . He told me he never learned how to cut black hair and from my understanding before you get your license in barber school they prepare you to cut all types of hair moral of the story he was very rude from the start I felt like he judged my sons hair type off of my skin color and my sons hair is very well to manage and good…if I could give him 0 stars I would very unprofessional and non friendly people of color I advise you to not even waste your time because he definitely have his picks and chooses"

"Love this place! Here is everything you need to know. Don’t let the old building or surroundings stop you. Mark, the owner, is great and has been in that spot for over forty years cutting hair. He mostly just takes appointments so you never have to wait but he will work you in if he has time. He can also point you in the right direction for a mechanic, baseball lessons, gun purchases or trades, live music suggestions, and anything else because he knows everybody :) Cash only so be sure to hit the atm on the way. Pricing is very competitive. My three sons prefer him over anywhere else. Call ahead and make appointment."
