"This place is the definition of "INCOMPETENCE". I've contacted them twice by phone and once by email regarding a commercial policy that they opened for me through Progressive. Progressive asked for a proof of garage address document which was provided then 2 weeks later I receive a denial letter. I contacted Redwood immediately and provided them with the document needed over 2 weeks ago. They've failed to resolve the issue and cannot even be bothered to reply to an email or return a phone call. This place is a joke"

"As prior reviews stated initial set up is fine. I actually moved to this group because of poor service from another agency within their house of agencies. Redwood was listed as my agent of record and come to find out they were the sponsoring agency. I asked to move over to Redwood so I didn’t have to deal with them anymore. After the initial set up is when the issues came. I frequently have to copy the owner david to get any progress at all on any requests. On 10/31 and logged into to see my renewal increase over 100%. I emailed Alex and he stated the renewal wasn’t available yet (even though I was looking at it though progressive website) and that he’d be happy to look into the rates and shop coverages. No response back. Nov 8 I requested a copy of our loss runs 10:20 am and wasn’t replied to for well over 24 hours later that I’d need to wait another 24-48 hours. Needless to say I’ll be moving out business elsewhere. When you pay 1100/ a month ($2200 with increase) you expect decent and prompt service. That is the least of what we have experienced with the entire Redwood group. They seem to forget I’ve told them I’m a licensed insurance agent and often lie to make sure they look the best. Avoid!"

"I had a good experience working with Alex. No issues initially setting up policies. The problem is that for whatever reason they don't work with Safeco anymore. My policy was set to non renew and Safeco sent me a letter saying I could not renew. Had I not checked the letter my insurance would have lapsed. I heard nothing from Alex or Redwood Agency. Its not unreasonable to expect your insurance agent to reach out to you if their relationship with Safeco ended, and proactively work with me to get a new policy with another insurer. I still have not talked with Alex after leaving multiple voice mails. Only an email with a new progressive quote which is much more expensive as rates have gone up and switching to a new company will be more expensive than a renewal. And no explanation on what happened to their relationship with Safeco. I found another agency to switch the safeco policy to them, and they are working on the renewal. I can no longer recommend Redwood agency."

"Worlds Fastest Insurance agents here! We were 2 hours away from home, it was a Friday at 5pm, we had just bought a car but we needed insurance for our new vehicle so we could get temporary tags and drive home. The registration office closed in 30 minutes, so I normally would have been nervous but our insurance agent Joe is so quick to respond that I knew we would pull it off. And we did, he got us the coverage we needed 5 minutes after I called him- even on a Friday afternoon! Great service, they've saved us a ton on insurance, would recommend!"
