"Bill at the gun counter was very helpful and knowledgeable, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The downside was only on checkout lane open up front, with a huge line of people waiting for checkout. After 15 or 20 minutes they finally directed some of us to come up to the customer service desk and check out. Pretty understaffed for afternoon shopping time. Update; 12/23/23: Decent staffing of the registers at the Grapevine store today, and I got the usual great service at the firearms counter to find the ammo I was shopping for. Good selection of gifts and other practical gifts like shoes and winter clothing as well."

"The store is generally well organized, though the shoe section can be disordered. The in-store inventory shown online isn't the most reliable, but staff has always been very helpful confirming what they have in stock or contacting other stores."

"I finally found the color Stanley that I have been searching for! So excited that I ordered two! When I got the notification that my order was ready for pickup, I drove over an hour to pick it up. When I got there, they only had one of the two I ordered. Two managers helped rectify the mishap and I left happy! Not only did they price match a 40oz for the 30oz that I ordered, but they gave me a gift card for the inconvenience. I didn’t catch both names of the managers that helped me but Dane was one of them and they were both so helpful!!"

"I'm very disappointed. I ordered Nike shoes online. I received them with the security tag. When I contacted the customer service. They asked me to take them to any store to remove the security tag. I told them that I don't have a car right now. Instead of offering me a discount to pay for Uber, they offered a coupon to make me buy. I am done with the Academy. I used to purchase a lot of stuff there."
