Milano Nail Spa Pearland

"**LONG REVIEW w/ UPDATE** I came to Milano to get my nails done for my engagement photo shoot. I was extremely anxious because other nail salons in the area did not live up to my expectations. I was extremely picky about the style I wanted, but the staff understood what I wanted and promised me that I would have the best person in their salon. Throughout the appointment, Tim made sure to check on me and make sure everything was to my liking. He followed all my requests and even made last minute changes to my nail design. In the end, I was so happy with Tim’s work. I will be coming back to the salon for all future appointments and requesting Tim specifically. Thank you Tim for everything you did. [UPDATE :: within two hours of leaving the salon, my gel polish started to chip and come off. I called the salon around 1:45PM and due to a hair appointment at 3PM, I told them I didn’t know if I would be able to get back the salon before they closed at 7PM. They were nice enough to schedule an appointment for Tim to fix my nails at 6:30PM. I rushed back and showed up around 6:10PM. Tim apologized and redid my polish from scratch without hesitation. I left the salon around 6:45PM and went home. WE checked my nails multiple times before I left and they were good. Now that I’m in bed (it’s 10:30PM) I’m noticing that my polish is chipping AGAIN!!!!!! At the time of this review the chipping is small, but I fear will only going get worse. I normally don’t complain OR write bad reviews, but this is RIDICULOUS. As stated in my original review, these nails are for my ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS. Between the time they open on Sundays, the time of makeup appointment AND the photoshoot start time, I don’t have time to go back tomorrow and have Tim do this again. So now I will be taking engagement photos with chipped polish. **EYEROLL** This is not TIM’s fault, however, I’m REALLY REALLY disappointed in the quality of the polish they used on my nails. I choice to spend my money (~$82 + Tip = $102.60) here and the salon thanks me by using terrible products. I should not have to come back to get my nails fixed TWICE, matter of fact, I shouldn’t have to go back ONCE! I’m really on the fence about returning in general. This is the SECOND nail salon in Pearland that has given me unsatisfactory results.]]"

"Writing this review from the parking lot wishing I would have read previous reviews first. My experience was a 2/5 due to the lack of customer satisfaction, I got the express pedicure with gel polish with Vi and the pedicure was quick obviously by the name but I did not receive everything included in the package I didn’t receive a neck pillow, “sea salt”, or the 5 minute massage. These things may seem minor but when you had a rough day or high expectations those little things matter. When I addressed it was stated there was a timer set which I did see but in that time everything else(last min touchups) was being done but the massage. Tony did my nails and they came out nice a little bulkier then I would have liked and tried to tell him in the beginning . Overall this nail salon did not make a great first impression from the lack of customer satisfaction to the cleanliness when it came to the tools they used. Mimi did try and accommodate me by giving me 10% off which I appreciate but would have enjoyed a better experience way more."

"Don’t be fooled by the name. This place does not hold the same quality & standards as the Milano in Sugar Land and The Heights. I came here for the first time hoping to get a simple gel pedicure and left highly disappointed. The nail tech insured me she’d create a “natural” acrylic toe but instead she made this lumpy nail. She also got massage oil on my brand new work boots and denied it. Never again will I go here."
