"**UPDATE** 2/11/24 went to get my nails done yesterday(1/18/24), after a couple weeks of not having nails, I got there a little after 6pm because I had recently gotten out of school & had driven a little over 20mins to try a new salon with good reviews. My set wasn’t finished until 8pm (salon was scheduled to close at 7:30pm) & my total came out to 108$ including the 20$ tip. When I initially entered the salon, I asked for a full acrylic set. I was shown a seat & a man approached me. My nail tech’s name was Vincent, he was very sweet & was honestly the only enjoyable part of the experience. I showed him the reference photo (full set of hearts) & he said he would be able to do it. Mind you nobody informed me on how much the set would be until over halfway through the nail job, when I was then also notified that putting the painted hearts on every finger would be 130$ (not including tip). which, I would have been fine with that, had my nails looked even similar to the design, but none of my nails are even the same length/shape. No hate to Vincent, personally, but these are respectfully, not what i asked for. He hand painted the white french tip when I think it would’ve saved both of our time if he had just cut the acrylic & have all the tips be the same length/similar. half of the tips on my nails have sloppy brush marks/are lopsided. My nails are still sore, & the longer I look at my nails, the more I realize they weren’t worth it. regretting having to write this; very sweet people & good service, but quality of work isn't the best. —My pinky nail fell off a couple days ago, taking a chunk of my actual fingernail with it, as well as disconnecting my nail from my nail bed, which is why its brown. I have never experienced this before. I’ve always put forth effort into protecting my fingers while I have nails to avoid this, & I have done my nails myself/had them done very many times. I must say I hold the nail salon responsible for this because I explained to Vincent that my nails were frail after a previous set & he proceeded to drill & cut down my already short nails. This set has been incredibly painful & I personally get incredibly queasy when nails are damaged, it’s similar to nails on a chalk board. I am incredibly disappointed in what this nail salon has presented to me & many of my female friends said they straight up wouldn’t have paid. I will not be returning to another luxx nail salon again, & I genuinely recommend you go elsewhere."

"I’ve been coming here consistently for a year now and I’m always pleased with my nails. I don’t schedule with a specific nail tech because they are all great at Luxx. Shout outs to Annie (pic below) and Timmy for their meticulous detail work! Vivian is super friendly and always consults with me on my color choices. The salon is very clean. I refer my friends and family here!"

"Not impressed. $61 for 1 nail repair, acrylic fill, and gel polish. He cut the nail too short and when I told him he said he’d have to start over….and didn’t. Proceeded like it was ok. I definitely won’t be back! White is before, tan is after. I also didn’t have to have 2 nails filled cause they were just replaced 4 days prior."
