"I was initially scared to get a sugar wax. I've only done hard wax in the past. Im a black woman, and I was worried as I've had a few wax ladies who didnt do well with coarse hair. Both ladies here did a phenomenal job and the end result is more pleasant than hard wax."
"This is my second time getting the Brazilian and underarm sugar wax with Norma. She is very thorough and professional. She is very experienced and takes her time to ensure everything is done good. I feel so smooth and clean and will definitely continue to come back to Norma. One thing to keep in mind is that Norma does it all….answers client phone calls/ messages and provides the services. I’ve seen a few negative reviews from people who haven’t had service done with her but we’re upset over not getting an answer when they call and I don’t think that’s fair. Especially during these times we need to be patient with each other. I recommend you message her either by text or fb messenger and she will definitely get back to you ASAP."
"I got my first brazilian sugar wax today and it was such a comfortable experience. Norma was an amazing lady who was very knowledgeable and she totally understood it was my first time!! I have a low pain tolerance but she was so patient with me. Made me feel safe and kept the conversation flowing to help keep me distracted. The results are amazing and definitely gonna recommend to all my girl friends."

Norma at Waxing Place & Plus is at the top of my list for one of the best experiences. She is knowledgeable, professional and extremely thorough; she pays attention to detail!! Prices are reasonable and, as advertised on her website, on Tuesdays, underarms are free when you get a Brazilian! Her salon/waxing studio is back towards the pond, suite #2.
