Service Street Auto Repair

"Back in July of 2023, Service Street repaired the AC on my 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit. This was the third time they worked on my AC in less than 2 years. They had to take apart my entire dash to the evaporator, and admittedly had difficulties doing so due to the installation of emergency equipment, lights and siren. I appreciate the difficulties this may have caused, and understood the extended time frames for repair. When I was finally able to pick up my car, as I drove it out of the parking lot, I noted how dirty my windshield was, oil and remnants from the repair. I attempted to activate my windshield washer fluid and got no response, in fact none of my windshield wiper functions were working. I turned back and the staff realized they didn’t plug them back in. No worries mistakes happen, albeit I was starting to get a bad taste: 3rd visit regarding the AC, didn’t know how to overcome a slight modification with basic equipment installation, no attempt to clean the windshield from the repair, and now failed to plug the windshield wipers back in. Nonetheless, the very young man at the front desk did help me with some financing options, albeit on a card I already had, so I accepted the minor flaws. Although, about a month later while working, I attempted to activate my emergency lights to no avail. Apparently the even younger technicians also failed to plug it back in. I was able to get that done myself. Then this morning my battery was dead and I needed to jump it. Although, after popping my hood for the first time since the AC repair, I noted my hood would not stay up, a problem never encounter before, and my hood light was unplugged. These guys clearly had no attention to detail. Their team seems to lack experience, and the attrition rate in the office is high, a different crew every time I go. They do seem to be overpriced, charging over $400 in April to charge and die my AC. It is for these reasons, that I will no longer use Service Street. Since changing from Driver’s their staff is way to young with way to little experience. They probably do well with minor stuff, but they are incapable of any major repair."

"Gave me a nice analisys on the aligment issues. However, took over 1 hour to change a single tire. I was told it was bc of an issue with the tire on the balance machine, wich was solved after I asked why so long. Both inner tie rods needed replacement. I went to a different shop bc I found a way better rate of the labor charges. Nothing personal, there's just not much I can afford to fix at the moment, so I looked into not getting over charge no matter what. I still appreciate the front desk service. They did inform me about what was happening to my car."

"Had a simple oil change schedule in afternoon. Front desk said the guy that does the oil changes left so I was out of luck. I took time from my day to come get serviced and was turned away for invalid reason. Thank you for wasting my time."

"I had my car taken here to get a gasket changed due to an oil leak. When it was picked up, it seemed fine until he got down the road the check engine light comes on. He stops at Auto Zone to get a reading and then goes back to the shop. Only to be told, "Did the light come in when you turned the car on?" But this is what they did. When we came to pick the car up, it was sitting out front. He went in to pay as soon as he went in. This guy rushed out, turned the car on, and he sat there and turned off the check engine light with one of those small machines. Put it back in his pocket and got out of the car, leaving it running. So NO, the light didn't come on when he turned it on. Then he tells us it will be $150 for us to check to see why the light is on... DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU WANT IT TO COME BACK FIXED!!!!
