"I had RFG inspect a truck at the Ritchie Bros Yard prior to auction in September 2022. The truck had a check engine light on (don’t they all) and RFG was quick to schedule and run a diagnostic. It was on due to operator failing to regen. The tech assured me the low hours and miles were true on the cpu. Ultimately I purchased the truck and upon pickup the batteries were drained and it wouldn’t stay running as someone had further fiddled with the regen cycle IN HOPES OF SCARING OFF OTHER BUYERS. DIRTY! I wasn’t worried too much even given the huge investment as I was confident from RFG’s original inspection. I had another third party company on-site at the auction house override the regen and I was on my way 2500 miles back to Cali. Thanks Y’all!"
