"This Guy who helped me had a heart of service when I say he isn't about the money I mean just that he knows his stuff he took a look at my vehicle without a charge. Unfortunately after coming back to get the work done it was someone different who worked on my car. Be prepared to leave your vehicle. There's no waiting area. Prices are reasonable depending on services. The only downside is unanswered calls."

"The first time I use his service he was referred to us by another mechanic that didn't do the work that my son's car needed. After receiving astronomical prices for what was needed to fix my son Cadillac. Dwight fix the problem for way less than quotes I previously received. He is honest, reliable & quick with service. I referred my husband to him he drop his truck off Monday & Dwight fix the problem on Tuesday. As of today my son Honda is being repaired by Dwight Transmission. I can honestly say he is our family go to mechanic. I will happily refer him to anyone looking for a honest & reasonable mechanic."

"Was skeptical b/c of location, and lack of communication. Dropped vehicle for radiator repair, never heard a word until it was ready at 5pm, same day. There was a difference in verbal quote and actual price of $50, but still a great deal. Thanks for such timely service and overall great experience from Da Hood. I had heard the place was good and it is. Would recommend anybody with any make vehicle, if you looking for a fair price and good service for auto repairs. 4.7 stars Update 5/6/21 I am now a loyal customer to Dwight’s Transmission. Always great service and a fair price. This is my third visit. Very friendly, and professional owner and employees. Will keep your vehicle running like new. I got new struts."

"Dwight is honest, trustworthy, great customer service and the prices are fair. I live in Dallas and my daughter attends college in Houston this incident happened two weeks before her graduation so when she called stating her Honda Accord was stranded car won't go in gear I went in Dad mode called college campus tow truck driver Kirk who referred me to Dwight Transmission he repaired what was needed let's just say I was blessed he got my daughter car up and running the same day with great price and she made it home in Dallas safely and still riding."
