"Brake line broke. Read reviews and loved the idea of a local independently owned mechanic thats honest, quick, and doesn't throw parts and we found Alan's. Took the van in and was told it would be about a week b4 they could get to it. 3 days later the part was fixed. The price for the repair was amazing! Great honest work from a great mechanic. "I contacted Alan's when my a/c wasn't blowing cold, he was honest about the time line; that I had several cars ahead of me and if he wasn't able to get to it he would let me know and set an appointment. Only a few hours later he called that he was pulling the car into the shop and would let me know after diagnostics. Come to find out owner Alan was the one who was working on my car and he had found the issue and resolved it, and that I could head that way. I asked if he had heard any weird noise coming from the undercarriage as I had heard previously and he said while it was still on the lift, that too was getting taken care of. His price was reasonable and fair, didn't quote unnecessary repairs and didn't try to upscale during summer. He even mitigated labor on the undercarriage because it was already on the lift. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend friends and family to Alan's Auto Care and will be using them from now on. Ps. If your a drag racing fan ask him about his truck.. and if your lucky you might get to hear some other stories."
