"Great place to go to have your car diagnosed and repaired. Amos is a competent and efficient mechanic."

"I came here to get my car diagnosed and they told me that it was the alternator. They told me to replace my alternator it would cost $935 (something around there) which I said okay since I needed one. Then I was doing research online and noticed that they were overpriced so I called back and asked them to hold off on replacing my alternator. When I told the lady on the phone that, her attitude shifted and she sounded annoyed by my request. I found a place down the road (Northside Motors) who charged me $650 for the same replacement (comes w warranty). This places price range is definitely high. The only thing I got here was the diagnostics and my car key battery replaced which they chipped a piece off of. Even if it was an accident nobody told me about it. I would recommend calling other places. My response to your the reply: I understand that you "mark parts up" that's why my review said that I found someone cheaper and that "this places price range is definitely high" and yes I did approve to start the job but when I called back after I found the better price, I asked the lady who answered, I think her name was Megan, not to sure but I asked her "Have you guys started working on my car?" Which she responded, "They are ABOUT to start". If she would've told me that they already started working on my car, I would've just said okay whatever, it is what is but instead she said they were ABOUT to. So then I told her if they could hold off because I thought they were overcharging me. You're saying "Had you communicated that you had an issue with the cost, we may have been able to work with you" I clearly did, I told her I thought they were overcharging me. She should've "communicated" that she could've worked with me about the price, but instead, like I said in my review "her attitude shifted and she sounded annoyed by my request". And to you saying that you guys help Mo out, okay? That's great, that's great to hear that you guys help him out. I don't know what that has do with me but again great for you guys. And I love how you guys didn't even say anything about your guys chipping my key fob when y'all were replacing the battery? Anyways thanks for the response, hope your business does well!"

"Tom's Auto repair is a very good auto repair shop located on Louetta road, very close to where we stay. They were transparent with the parts and expenses, and did a good job fixing the car. However I felt that the associated labor costs were a bit high. Also as a bonus, they gave a 12,000 mile or 1 yr service warranty on the replaced products."
