My car’s horn wasn’t working, so they diagnosed and gave me fair price to fix it. Later on, I thought there was issue with the brakes, they found that it was still working properly and didn’t bother to charge me the cost of checking it. Will come again."

Turns out the pump in my car is extremely rare -- he went through 3 suppliers, sent his wife to the dealership, and overnight shipped from Dallas to get the right part -- He didn't even charge me for the additional cost or hassle of getting it. Rusty is by far the most honest mechanic I have ever worked with -- he solves problems as quickly and affordably as possible and He does it right -- no cutting corners. If you value the trust and accountability of talking with the OWNER every time you walk in or call AND with excellent communication and professionalism -- choose Rusty. I promise you, he is one of the best in Houston. Even a few days later, I was halfway to Austin and broke down with an unrelated issue with my car. "I don't leave many reviews but Rusty's Automotive Repair blew me away! My ac was barely working and a friend suggested I might just need more refrigerant and was referred to Rusty's. I spoke with an employee on the phone and they suggested I bring my car in first thing in the morning because they get busy quickly. I dropped my car off at 7:05 am and was told that they were running behind but would get to my car asap. Barely an hour later, I'm about to walk out the door for work when I get a call that my car is ready for pick up! WOW!!! They were extremely friendly and it was so much cheaper than I had feared. I plan to bring my car here from now on. Thank you!!!"
