Cillis Car Care

"We had a very good experience overall. There were some bureaucratic delays due to this being a warranty fix, but this will be our new go-to shop moving forward (this review as of 3/6/24 is based on the first time we've ever come here). I was pleasantly surprised how often other customers would walk in and clearly knew the service desk people or mechanic on a first name basis already whenever I was in the front office. I don't look forward to having to go to a mechanic, but I don't think I'll have any anxiety about coming here when needed. The only hangup I really had was occasionally getting "We'll let you know around 3/4p about the status of your vehicle," and I ended up having to call the following day to get that status update, but those weren't mission-critical updates."

"My wife took her Camry in for a state inspection, she's partially disabled and the crew at Cillis is always so courteous to her...They got her in right away and out quickly...Thanks to Kevin and the Cillis crew...you made the inspection so easy for us!"

"I just picked up my car there, it was there for 4 days and I left very upset. The reason being because my service advisor Kevin never reached out to let me know the status of my car or why it was taking so long. I had to call to find out which was fine at first but then Kevin was just very unpolite over the phone. When I asked him what the status was, he responded, "well, they're fixing it." I didn't feel taken care of as the customer. Also picking it up he told me it was still leaking oil which is why I took it in the first place, so my car was not ready to be picked up. Very disappointed with the lack of service. It just felt like they were picking and choosing who to help and serve."

"I took my car here about 5 months ago to get the power side view mirrors repaired. It needed a new motor. They did the work but when I picked up my car I noticed the door panel was cracked. It probably cracked while taking it off to do the repair. I showed it to Kevin who works at the desk. He took a picture of it and said he would look into and get back with me. I know my car is a little older and expected him to tell me how much it would cost and then I could decide if I wanted the door panel replaced. I waited a few days and never heard from him. I decided to call and he said he was waiting to find a part number. I called back two more times with the same response. I didn't understand why it was taking so long to find that information. I finally realized, he just didn't want to help me. My family has taken our cars here for years and was really surprised to be treated this way. I guess they don't need or want our business. They value their ego more than their customers. I didn't know you can pick and choose who you want to help. So to this day I have never heard from them. I will take my business where they value their customers."

"Customer Service has really gone down since I first started going here years ago. I have attempted to get service done twice and have walked out thinking the first time was just an off day. Thankful CarMax recommended another shop not to far. Completely different experience as soon as I walked in the door."
