MINT dentistry

"I had a disappointing experience at Mint Dentistry recently for the second time. While the facility itself was modern and welcoming, the interaction with the dental hygienist left much to be desired in the realm of customer service. It seems that they could benefit from having better-trained dental hygienists who understand the importance of maintaining professionalism and respecting patients' boundaries. Nobody wants to be lectured about their dental hygiene habits as an adult, especially when visiting the dentist for routine cleanings. If my dental hygiene was an issue I would not be able to get orthodontics which I’m currently wearing and have two months left so of course the end of that presents normal issues as your teeth are closer together I’m double wired and wearing rubber bands 24/7. But constant questioning and unsolicited opinions about flossing and brushing and then to ask me “has your orthodontist shown you how to floss” felt extremely intrusive and unnecessary. Again, if my teeth were in pristine good condition, I wouldn't be there for regular cleanings every six months. There's certainly a better way to offer guidance and support to patients without coming across as judgmental or offensive. As it's the second time I've experienced this behavior from the same hygienist. It's clear that Mint Dentistry needs to address this issue to ensure a more positive and respectful experience for all patients. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after this experience."
