"Re-edit… scroll to the end My Sister is very disappointed with Everything about this business. She called Albert and he immediately picked up Her Orange Jeep Rage a little over TWO months ago. According to the diagnostic all her Jeep needed was the transmission censor replaced. no problem… Albert said, WELL… it’s been problem after problem since. According to Albert he gave it a tune-up, reprogrammed it and changed a brand new belt, only to charge her $1,164.00 when asked about the censor Alberts response was…” it wasn’t a censor, it was a simple Tune- Up, battery and a belt replaced” when now her AC is no longer in workingith her Jeep before Albert destroyed it, was that it was turning off at the stop light and that is it! Everything else was working just fine. As of today 12-13-23 her jeep is still at his shop, Albert no longer take her calls, Rick keeps making excuses for Albert who is never available. And this issue has not been resolved. I believe Albert has taken advantage of a vulnerable 48 year old women who was desperate and didn’t know where to turn and He has used her desperation to exploit her of all her savings. If we could give this business owner 0 stars we would.We do not recommend this business to anyone with transmission issues or any other issues. Pay the extra money for a job well done and respectful service. 1-22-24 Back here to say thank you to Alberto for changing my opinion about his way of doing business and making things right by my sisters jeep. He has since fixed every issue with her vehicle and has gone above and beyond to make sure her car is running properly. He has finished the job and she has had no transmission problems with her car. She seems to be at least 90% satisfied with the outcome of her dilemma."

"I've taken two vehicals for Transmission change with no problems ( 5 stars). With my 3rd vehical (Transmission change no problem) there was a previous Transmission leak that I had for years. They could not fix it. They used up all my full tank gas & left it completely empy and also broke my driver side seat belt which now is unable to snap on. I removed it from car Insurance and just have it parked."

"I had my 2003 Ford Explorer worked on here due to the transmission not moving anymore. I did not know who to take my vehicle too since I had never run into this problem. I did my research and found out about A-Plus Transmission & Auto Repair in Weslaco. I called and spoke to Magda and she was extremely helpful over the phone and set up an appointment immediately for that morning to have my vehicle checked. I arrived Magda and the owner Alberto immediately were very helpful, and answered all of my questions. I had my vehicle checked, and was advised of the problems with my transmission. Alberto and his workers immediately worked on my vehicle that day. I received a phone call in 3 days to advise me my vehicle was ready. I was completely shocked when I arrived and test drove my vehicle. My explorer drove even better than when I first purchased it two years prior in 2017. The owners Alberto, Magda and their workers went over and beyond to make sure the transmission was working better than ever! I HIGHLY recommend Alberto and Magda from A-1 Tansmissions & Auto Repair because the owners and all of their staff go over and beyond when they are fixing a vehicle, and are extremely helpful, patient, caring, and very respectful. This business truly signifies what an honest, hard working, and caring business who truly cares about all their customers. I feel truly feel blessed to have found a local business who truly cares for their customers and work 210% to help them get their vehicles working even better than before. All of the workers were extremely respectful to me also and that also goes to say a lot because as a woman it's extremely hard finding a mechanic that will treat them with respect and not take advantage of them. I HIGHLY recommend A-1 Plus because they truly are extremely professional and are helpful. This business does other mechanical work, and now I have a place to bring my vehicle when it is not working properly and have piece of mind that the job will get done properly and precise!"
