"We were recently in the Terlingua area for vacation. As we left the Summit heading to Big Bend, our battery light came on. We had just put in a new battery a month ago so we couldn’t understand what could be wrong. As my husband drove I checked the truck manual and read we really need to have it checked before proceeding. After all we didn’t want to get stranded in Big Bend National Park! Praying that maybe it was just a glitch and would go out (it was very cold that day), we passed Tom’s Automotive. An answer to my prayers! We stopped and the hubs made contact with THE nicest gentleman…you guessed it…Tom. He was busy as evidenced by several cars in the lot but he took time to come check the battery, alternator, cables, everything. It all checked out fine, he said it must have been a glitch and sent us on our way. It never happened again the rest of our trip. Folks, if you need any auto repairs, go see Tom.
